Game play will be only be on Saturday, Nov 26th with 3 rounds of playoffs starting at 5pm. Lunch will be provided for all curlers as well as dinner. The day will feature discounted beer and live music. This will be a great time of fun with friends new and old.
Dinner you won’t want to miss as we are doing our famous Hip of Beef cooked in the washing machine. Non-curlers can purchase tickets for $30. Then to finish the night we will have our own Ross Valliant calling the horses. If you haven’t experienced his horse race then you just have another reason to come out and join us.
Format – This is a points spiel in a round-robin format, 4 pools of 4 teams, to be selected by organizers. Couples will be teamed together (unless they prefer not to!), and full teams can register (unless we consider them “stacked”). The top 2 teams in each pool will advance to a single playoff round. Check out the event and draw schedules in the attached link. Four winning teams will receive a $50/person discount on next season’s fees.
So there’s no time to waste head over to the Huntley Curling registration site and get yourself signed up. You’re not going to want to miss out and have to wait until next year. Registration closes when we hit 64 curlers!
