It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Karen Johnson, with family by her side, on Monday, April 3, 2023, at the age of 58, after a courageous battle with cancer. Karen had been battling a rare form of breast cancer since 2017. She was an amazing friend, mother and life partner to Kerry.
Karen was a fun-loving and competitive curler and she will be missed by many members of our club. She was a loving mother and wife. She loved travelling, golfing, curling, camping and cuddling with her pets. She had a fun-loving spirit, always wore a smile and deeply enjoyed being among her many friends.
Karen will be remembered for her infectious smile and laugh, her feistiness in sports and business alike and for her selfless devotion to her family.
A memorial visitation will be held for Karen Johnson at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Ottawa, Ontario on Friday, April 14, 2023 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 11:00 a.m.
