Thank you for being so patient and sticking with us. We know this period has not been easy. As we all know, Ontario is in a lockdown until at least February 11th, and there is a possibility it will be extended even longer.
Huntley Curling Club will not open this season.
Given the above circumstances, the Board has made the difficult decision to cancel this season’s curling and not open the curling club. We believe the season will be too short and it is in the club’s best financial interest to remain closed until next season.
Refunds
Refunds will be processed shortly for any members who paid to curl this season, with some retained for your Stay in Touch Membership.
Drain on our financial reserves!
Like other businesses the pandemic has taken a huge toll on our club’s finances. The cost of maintaining the building has significantly depleted our reserve funds used to pay for emergencies.
Donating to the Club
Please consider donating some of your refund to the club. Your donation will help cover costs and reduce the drain on the Club’s reserve funds.
If you wish to donate, please email membership@huntleycurling.ca with the amount that you wish to donate.
