In the past few weeks, we’ve successfully conducted two bonspiels at the club. Great thanks to all the curlers and volunteers who participated – these events cannot happen without your support.
Huntley Mixed Bonspiel (Nov 18, 2023)
Our first ever Huntley Mixed Spiel was enjoyed this year by 8 teams, 3 of which we welcomed from outside of HCC. It was an enjoyable afternoon filled with great curling, live music and some awesome food. Team Cormier led the day in points making them the first overall winner of this year’s spiels. Congrats to them and thanks to all who joined us and helped to make this spiel happen.
U5 Kick-Ass Bonspiel (Dec 2, 2023)
This is the 4th year that we have run the U5 Kick-Ass spiel and it did not disappoint. With a full 16 teams in attendance and 7 of them from outside of HCC, the building was full of great energy. We enjoyed great music and the food was delicious thanks to our fantastic volunteers. After a long day and 4 draws later the Team Sirois from Russell was our A division champion.
