Congratulations to Team Budnick, winners of the Carleton Place Learn to Curl Bonspiel, Jan 7th And an honourable mention also goes out to Team Chapman. They won two of their three games. The team consisted of Janet Chapman, Pam Twining, Jim Gamo and Kari Keays.

The Men Prevail! The 2nd Annual Battle of the Sexes was held Saturday Dec 10, and, in spite of some diabolical rules, the men prevailed again to retain the prestigious Toilet Seat trophy. Thanks to the parade volunteers for making a fantastic float. We had 16 youth walk/ride this year. Great time had by all!
Friday night was a big night at the club for one team… they got an 8-ender! Congratulations to Tom McCarthy (skip), Charles Davis (vice/3rd), Jodi Laundry (2nd) and Nicole Phillips (lead). For Nicole it was her first ever league game after doing the Learn To Curl!
